For event planners and AV teams
Build it in your browser, download an MP4, and play it on any projector or TV. No designer, no editing software, no internet needed at the venue.
Free to build and preview. Clean HD videos from $19. Works in Chrome or Edge on a computer.
Sample design. The sponsors are made up.
How it works
Still or moving, in calm corporate looks. Or upload your own picture or motion loop.
Every logo is fitted to its box and fades in and out cleanly, so odd shapes still look tidy.
1080p, 4K or the exact size of a wide screen or LED wall, as a seamless loop or a 5, 15 or 30 minute file. Play it from a USB stick, a laptop or the venue's media server.
Made for the gaps
Platinum, gold, silver and bronze, each sponsor getting its moment on screen.
Event name, welcome message and branding while the room fills up.
"Back in 15 minutes", Wi-Fi details, what's next on the agenda.
Elegant frames and fonts behind the stage between presentations.
A living photo wall of the team, with seasonal backdrops to match.
A loop of products, clients and logos that runs all day on a TV.
One moving backdrop across the whole wall with framed windows for PowerPoint and IMAG, plus exact layer positions for Encore3, Spyder-S, Aquilon or vMix.
It's a normal video file. If the screen can play an MP4, you're set.
Photos and logos are processed in your own browser. Pass holders can choose to save designs privately to their account.
Videos are built so the end flows straight back into the start, hour after hour.

Questions
No. You pay once on Square's secure checkout and nothing renews automatically. When your time is up, your saved layouts stay in your account and you can buy again whenever your next event comes along.
The design you make your first clean video from. For the next 7 days you can fix it as often as you like: correct a typo, swap a late logo, change the length or the order, and export again. A completely new loop for another screen needs another Single Video or an Event Pass.
Anything that plays an MP4: a laptop, a TV's USB port, a media player, or the venue's playback system. Set it to repeat and walk away.
No. It runs in Chrome or Edge on a computer. A phone or tablet is too small to build on comfortably.
Not unless you choose to. Everything you add is handled inside your browser. Pass holders can save a design to their account so they can open it on any computer; those files are stored privately and only you can open them.
Yes. Upload a looping video clip and the app builds your video in whole repeats of it, so the motion stays seamless.
Only where you choose it. AI backdrops and living scenes are made by AI from your description, and they're always optional: every built in backdrop, frame and font, and everything you upload yourself, works without it. The sample designs on this page were made in Holdscreen with AI backdrops and AI photos, so the people in them are not real and every name is made up. If you use AI generated people in an advertisement of your own, some places (New York, for example) require you to say so in the ad.
Describe the look you want and the AI paints a backdrop at the shape of your screen. The widest it paints is 5.3 to 1 (three 16:9 screens side by side); anything wider than that needs your own panoramic picture. Your first one is free with a free account. After that they come with a pass: 10 with a Single Video, 50 with an Event Pass, 300 with an Annual.
Yes. Lay out framed windows at exact pixel sizes, leave them empty, and export. Your switcher or processor plays the backdrop and places PowerPoint and camera feeds on top. The export step lists every window's exact position for the operator and offers a still picture for processors that only take still backgrounds.
Yes. If you'd rather hand it off, we can build your loops for you. Get in touch and tell us about your event.
